Nice enough. Close to the airport. Not much within walking distance. Good for an overnight if you have a connecting flight.
I had a great time the room was clean and modern. The staff was excellent. But I spent 4.00$ at the food shop on a small bag of chips and only 2.00$ on the Pop bottle. I understand a price increase because of location...but that price was ridiculous. So was a few other things in the store that was up at least 4-5 times more then would have been somewhere else. I never had this issue and it never would have bothered me. ...untill I went downstairs to get a snack and only got 2 small (I mean those small bags) of chips for 10$
I'm frequent Garden Inn guest. The Detroit Metro Airport Garden Inn has all the usual nice amenities and comfortable beds and rooms. However, staff need to pay more attention to detail: I got double charged for my breakfast. And the housekeeping could use improvement. The carpet in my room was filthy and had never been vacuumed under the bed. I expect better from a Hilton Garden Inn.
Was recommended by a coworker due to proximity to airport. Very nice staff. No complaints, rooms were clean and quiet and I was able to get a good (although short) night's sleep.
Stopped in for a bite to eat after my flight. Dinner by Troy and server Gwen was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you!!!
